Radio The Great Entertainer...

Radio has been my passion since my Dad introduced me to it when I was a child. The static of Short wave radio then which one had to endure in order to listen to Sri Lankan Asian Service or London BBC Tamil, Radio China, Radio Veritas... you name it we had it.

Later as the satellites were deployed for Radio broadcasting purposes, I invested in a princely sum of about 10 Euros to purchase a World Space Satellite Radio which I enjoyed with the family for nearly 7 years. With subscription services turning in, radio listening became dearer...

Yet now with broadband connectivity available at my village@manjampatti I had other vistas opening out and thus I was born into the era of Internet Radio listening. Still I continue my research via re-aligining my dish to receive additional radio channels, bend my old FM antenna a bit to tune into a station about 350kilometres away etc.,
